Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

A new gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how education can strengthen coexistence.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination.
